B&L Automotive left a lot to be desired. I was originally informed my problem could have been the PCM and that they would have to order one in. However, the problem was later discovered to be the ignition coil and without telling me they decided to go on ahead and changed it. I understand they are mechanics, but I would have preferred if they actually asked my permission because I know how to change it myself and would rather not pay Labor for it which amounted to be over 400 dollars. I also had my car breakdown a week after they did repairs on it before and had to pay 85 dollars in towing fees despite the fee originally going to be covered however, due to me not calling the 1-800 number because I did not know such number existed I had to pay full costs. The only real positive experience would be Liz. She is a no BS type of person and good to talk to. I just was hoping for better communication on the options with my car and of services.
Thanks for your review Alex, and I am sorry that we couldn’t do anything further for you on your repair cost. Just as Liz had explained to you, you have to call your 800 warranty number to have things covered before you have the vehicle towed or repaired. Once these items are already done it bypasses any chance of the warranty company from assisting you with the warranties repairs. This was completely out of our hands, and we wish we could do more to help. Have a great day, and god bless. Sincerely, Brad Brown, Owner
