Told me I needed to change my tires, and couldn't drive my car because they're over inflated and that they had splinters and they're bald and that they were going to pop. I had to drive back to MA and he said "I wouldn't make it" although he was correct they were over inflated it's been almost two months and my tires are fine and my car is running fine. I took the car to my regular mechanic in MA & he said I have more wear and tear than it should for how new they are but I don't need to change them asap. Wanted to also charge me for a fuel cleaner and an oil change and it was close to all together like $900+. Sounds like to me he's just trying to get as much money as possible...

I usually go to B&L when I need car work done. Recently I went to B&L for new rotor pads on my front tires. At first I thought B&L was honest and fair. But within 2 weeks my tires were shimming. I was driving down I-64 and it sounded like I had a flat and the left wheel was shaking and making horrible grinding noises. When I got out to check, at least three of the tire lug nuts were so loose on the front right tire. I could take them off and put them on with my hand. I managed to drive to a Pep Boys that was close by. The technician checked all the tire lug nuts. The front two tires had not been put on properly and were extremely loose. They tightened them for me and told me I was extremely lucky that the tires did not come off while I was driving. This was so scary for me and I was scared for others that may have had similar service since someone there does not know what they are doing and/or there is a lack of safety checks before a vehicle is returned. I called the manager to tell him what happened and he asked that I bring the car in to get checked. They took the car back and when the manager came back he said they were checking to see if there was any additional damage and there was not. All he could do was apologize. That was it!! I could have been killed. I guess I expected more than an apology but that was it. I told him that he just lost a customer and I would not be coming back. Be careful if you go to B&L for anything to do with brakes, rotors, or tires.

I am currently in the process of reviewing all of our shop cameras to see if strict protocols were not followed for the installation of the wheels and tires. We take our customers safety as our number one concern, and would never take this type of problem lightly. Fair and quality work. Everyone is always friendly & very informative of what repairs need to be done & are willing to explain the process if needed. You receive a very detailed sheet of work performed & what may need to be done or what is coming up that you should do. Will always recommend this shop!

I don't think you should ever answer the phone in a snobby voice when I ask if they could give me a quote and say you usually don't do that and then proceed to ask " what's up, what do you need" so unprofessional.

I literally just called to ask a simple question and the man hung up on me when I said I didn't want to make an appointment. I haven't even been to this shop before and I already know the service is bad and rude. Won't recommend it.

Brought vehicle in due to check engine light. When called back and told it was fixed, got in vehicle and light was still on.

Outstanding. Very good customer service- the employees are very nice and informative. Good quality of work, although my only experience with B&L so far has been for oil changes.
