I came here for an alignment and to find out why my car was shaking so bad. I saw that they had good reviews and they definitely did not disappoint. They exceeded my expectations and I can't say enough about them. They not only helped me with the alignment, but notified me that the place I had gotten all 4 tires replaced the week before had not balanced my tires properly. They took care of everything for me and at a reasonable price. The mechanic took me back to show me the issues with my car and listened to my questions and was extremely helpful. Every staff member was knowledgeable and very friendly. Definitely nice people who genuinely want to help. Also, they did the most detailed inspection and report on my car I've ever seen. Very thorough and I appreciate knowing what needs to be worked on immediately and what can wait a little while. I mean photos and everything were included, it was amazing! Didn't feel like they were trying to scam me and that's hard to find with auto places. Love this place and will be coming back. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you guys so much!

I got my car back today after it being in their shop for two days for suspension upgrades. All I can say is they are good honest people that do good honest work. The guy that was helping me went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. From my knowledge they basically do any work on vehicles. So I recommend checking them out and putting your trust into them to work on your vehicle. I will definitely be returning!!! Thank you guys, I love it.

Couldn't be happier. The shop is amazing, great service and the prices are reasonable. Customer service is exceptional and shop is very clean. Newport News best kept secret, I've driven past this shop a 1,000 times and didn't realize it was there.

Told me I needed to change my tires, and couldn't drive my car because they're over inflated and that they had splinters and they're bald and that they were going to pop. I had to drive back to MA and he said "I wouldn't make it" although he was correct they were over inflated it's been almost two months and my tires are fine and my car is running fine. I took the car to my regular mechanic in MA & he said I have more wear and tear than it should for how new they are but I don't need to change them asap. Wanted to also charge me for a fuel cleaner and an oil change and it was close to all together like $900+. Sounds like to me he's just trying to get as much money as possible...

I usually go to B&L when I need car work done. Recently I went to B&L for new rotor pads on my front tires. At first I thought B&L was honest and fair. But within 2 weeks my tires were shimming. I was driving down I-64 and it sounded like I had a flat and the left wheel was shaking and making horrible grinding noises. When I got out to check, at least three of the tire lug nuts were so loose on the front right tire. I could take them off and put them on with my hand. I managed to drive to a Pep Boys that was close by. The technician checked all the tire lug nuts. The front two tires had not been put on properly and were extremely loose. They tightened them for me and told me I was extremely lucky that the tires did not come off while I was driving. This was so scary for me and I was scared for others that may have had similar service since someone there does not know what they are doing and/or there is a lack of safety checks before a vehicle is returned. I called the manager to tell him what happened and he asked that I bring the car in to get checked. They took the car back and when the manager came back he said they were checking to see if there was any additional damage and there was not. All he could do was apologize. That was it!! I could have been killed. I guess I expected more than an apology but that was it. I told him that he just lost a customer and I would not be coming back. Be careful if you go to B&L for anything to do with brakes, rotors, or tires.

Fair and quality work. Everyone is always friendly & very informative of what repairs need to be done & are willing to explain the process if needed. You receive a very detailed sheet of work performed & what may need to be done or what is coming up that you should do. Will always recommend this shop!

We don't trust anyone else. Pretty sure Dan has poured his heart and soul into this place and it shows!

I don't think you should ever answer the phone in a snobby voice when I ask if they could give me a quote and say you usually don't do that and then proceed to ask " what's up, what do you need" so unprofessional.
