I had a great experience at B&L. The Staff is always respectful. I started taking my truck in 2013 when I bought my brand new Frontier. I just get the oil changed, fulid top off, and tire rotation. They have a very nice waiting area and the owner even let me take my dog inside because it was extremely hot outside. I felt like I was at home at B&L. To top everything off of an already great experience, the owner Brad now frequents my place of work (Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant) because he believes in supporting the community, especially mom and pop shops. Thank you B&L.

I brought my car to B&L because they were open on Saturdays and I didn't want to take time off work to have elective work done on my car. They were up front about cost before starting, it was pretty reasonable. They ran into a snag when removing the original o2 sensor in my stock downpipe, as it broke completely off (this happens all thr time and was not their fault). They couldn't get me another one until 5 days later so I called around and ended up driving an hour each way to pick it up. I got back 45 minutes from closing and they ended up staying an hour and a half after close just to finish my car. They really did go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Another thing I appreciate is that they let me come out and would show me certain things on my vehicle. I'm particular and like to be involved in anything related to my car so this was very nice. Furthermore, they email you a breakdown of where your car is at for maintenance with embedded pictures of all of your maintenance related items (tires, brakes, fluids, etc..). I haven't seen shops do anything like this and it was pretty cool. Overall great job and I would recommend bringing your car there for maintenance repair or installation of performance parts.

I will say this, I appreciate the top to bottom inspection they did, I like the fact that the work up was well done. As to what others have said, I'd say take the information they give and get the work done some place that is affordable (it's what I'm going to do.) I have researched information on my car and what needs to be done and they are correct as far as what needs fixing. Use your best judgment and common sense to make an wise choice for your own car, re: worth shelling out the funds or buying another newer car. Do your homework as an auto owner and get the parts yourself from the NAPPA webpage and get installed what you need done at another shop, you'll pay far less. You do not 'have to' get things done the day of service, other reviewers just need to chill their wills *rolls eyes* Oil change is what I got done, and a list of what needs attention come my next inspection that I will over the next few months have taken care of over time, not all at once so the bill isn't sky high. Guys did an excellent job. Thank you again.

Thank you so much Hannah for your review. We understand that people can choose to purchase their own parts, but in VA whomever installs them is liable for the repairs made. With our services when we sell parts and labor we are able to warranty all repairs for 3 years 36,000 miles, and also the warranty is nationwide. This warranty also comes with free roadside assistance for the warranty period for even things like lockout, flat tire, towing, etc. Our warranty is unmatched in the business, and when comparing apples to apples I think the value is worth the service. We were just awarded the #1 Certified Auto Repair Facility on the east coast for the reasons explained above. We are happy that we could serve you, and look forward to seeing you again in the future.
