These guys are very good. I was visiting some friends and called on B&L for some help. They serviced my car and even informed me of future repairs I am going to need. Darren and Isaac are true professionals. And they even let me talk to the technicians. That made me feel real comfortable with this garage.

I have a 1999 Sebring that was on the verge of death. I obtained a free estimate for the major repairs to bring my car back to a safe and good mechanical level. B & L was the most professional and courteous auto repair company I have ever encountered. The cost of the major repairs did not change from the estimate; the costs themselves were very reasonable as I have had other estimates that were much higher and the most amazing thing happened; my car was ready when they said it would be. I now feel comfortably safe in my car and confident that it is now mechanically sound. I was treated with respect and honesty. I would (and will) recommend B & L Auto to anyone & everyone. I will never go to any other

Went in for a state inspection and they were able to take care of me immediately. They saw that I had an air bag warning light and yes that would add up a diagnostic diagnostic charge in order to repair, but when the technician saw that there wasn't any issues to be found nor any codes pointing to the issue, they just told me that they weren't going to charge for the diagnostic since no issue was found. Overall left there pretty happy and have considered going to them again.

Had an oil pressure emergency yesterday on 64 during a family road trip and was fortunate enough to find these guys right off the interstate right before closing time. Despite the late hour, they put my Yukon up on the lift, diagnosed the problem quickly, made the necessary fix, and sent me on my way at a very fair price. The waiting area was clean and the manager was as kind and helpful as I could have hoped. I highly recommend!!!

B&L has been taking care of our automobiles for the past 15 years. In every case they have been fair and on occasion have even talked me out of service I thought my car needed (at least according to the manufacturers maintenance schedule). Darren is always cheerful, helpful and willing to take time to explain exactly what the work will entail. If you need a place that will be the "home" for your automobiles, this is it.

I've been taking my cars here to be serviced since 2007. The techs and managers are honest and courteous. I have even moved out of Newport News and still drive the 45 minutes to use this shop rather than find a more convenient garage. When you find a mechanic you trust, you stick with them!

My mom and I have been taking our van to B & L Automotive for about 3.5 years now...We cannot tell you how much we appreciate the hard work and dedication they show towards their customers! From the moment you walk through the door, you are warmly welcomed by one of the staff. The staff and mechanics are all very thorough and efficient when diagnosing and fixing your vehicle, and use quality parts to ensure that your car is safe. Add to that a reasonable price...It's a winner! :-)

Amazing customer service! Issac (manager) took time talking with me to make me feel at home while waiting! Offered coffee and tea too! Darin, the service advisor, was a pleasure to work with from the moment I called to the moment I left! Sam, the mechanic, was awesome! Came out and spoke to me personally! These guys are awesome and definitely take time to not only get to know your vehicle but their customers as well! Customer service is astounding! Will definitely be back! A+++
